come true is to buy Owner Financed Land. Generally, when land is offered
with owner financing options there is little or no credit check necessary. This
allows the buyer to purchase land that he may not otherwise be able to
because of requirements by traditional banks.
In a situation where land is financed by the owner, or a Contract For Deed,
the buyer makes payments directly to the seller. The seller holds the title to
the land until the final payment is made by the buyer. If you are considering
buying land with owner financing one thing you should keep in mind is the
interest rate in a loan directly from the land owner is usually higher than the
interest rate you would get at a traditional bank.
